You set the password at login. If you don't have it then use the psychocat password reset guide.

When I try to set the password the first question I receive is"(current) UNIX password" which I don't know. I have tried every password I have used, including ubuntu which is what one youtube video said would work. After I do a return again I receive a message saying "Authentication token manipulation error" and then drops back to Login. Beginning to get a bit frustrated.

Because you didn't read what I replied with. If you had you would have found this guide

Sorry: I am a newbie and missed this on the instructions "If you have a single-boot (Ubuntu is the only operating system on your computer), to get the boot menu to show, you have to hold down the Shift key during bootup." I will give it a try. A bit less frustrated!!

Can you help with this problem?
