Paltalk with Ubuntu

Asked by Andy Scully

My computer is running Ubuntu with several add ons including Java. I have no firewall. I have tried to run PalTalk Scene using emulators. Crossover simply balks because the Windows in it isn't new enough. Wine emulator both installs Paltalk Scene and opens it. But it doesn't stay open for more than a few seconds.
Are there some manual commands that I could add with the Terminal application?

yeah paltalk express is in beta stages and will work on ubunto you must download some sun microsystems software and it works fine I use this for debate room and am back on XP I wiped my windows xp on this machine and used ubuntu and found far too many issues trying to use paltalk on ubuntu aka I could here in paltalk express beta version but I could not talk on the mic ! this was simply not good enough for me as I like to talk on the mic. soooo I re wiped my PC and put XP back on oh well so sad too bad ubuntu. more so paltalk ought to pick up thier game and get with the program and develop thier program for paid paltalk custormers to be able to use linux !!
