AcidRIP for Win7

Asked by Rick Miller

I used AcidRIP DVD ripper when I had a Linux machine and was pleased with it's perfomance. Now, am forced to use Win7 and cannot seem to get a DVD ripper nearly as good as AcidRip. Is there a D/l version for Win 7 or, if not, is there a GOOD open source DVD ripper that will work in Win7? I've tried MKV, Handbrake and AnyDVD, among others, and ALL were of inferior performance. In fact one 'ripper" took an hour and 44 mins to rip a 2h and 12 minute DVD??? Another ripped just a third of the movie (which also took forever) then said I'd have to BUY the program if I wanted to rip the entire movie? Oh, and I cannot get VLC to do anything...regarding the ripping of a DVD????? Looking for some good advice from those who use DVD rips.
THANX:
Rick
