I have latest software upgrades but cannot open jpeg files in Ebay

I can open all my graphic files but in Ebay I cannot see any graphics displayed in listings on that site. I did clear my cache.

What is the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; apt-cache policy nautilus

I assume you are using Nautilus file manager.

OK, and by "open in Ebay" do you mean the website or is this an app of some kind?

I mean I cannot see any of the pictures in the Ebay listings.

Then you aren't opening jpgs on Ebay as you say, you just cannot view them online.

Have you tried a different web browser?

I have no trouble opening graphic files except I cannot view them on Ebay, not online, only Ebay.
