Display resolution 640x480 after upgrade to linux 4.4.0-43-generic

Asked by Luc Saffre

I am running Ubuntu 16.04. After the last upgrade my screen resolution was reduced to 640x480, and neither network nor usb devices were recognised. When I select the last kernel (4.4.0-42) at startup, everything works fine. Any idea what I can do?
Here is my lshw:

The problem was "automagically" fixed after one or two upgrades. Thanks to the maintainers!
