Winff in Ubuntu 16.04 in Spanish doesn't work

Asked by Liliana Esther López

I installed the graphic ui for Winff in Ubuntu 16.04 in Spanish but It keeps saying "choose a predetermined value" when I try to add a file. I couldn't find any working solution on the web for this ubuntu distribution... This is the first time I use WinFF.

I suggest you report a bug. What are you wanting to achieve?

Maybe there is an alternative

Yeah, what are you trying to achieve?

If you need to convert videos, try this procedure:

http://www.howtogeek.com/199993/converting-videos-by-the-batch-with-handbrake/

If that's not it, please give more details.....

Hello people, thanks for answering so soon and for letting me know the alternative of handbrake. I just needed to change some home made videos format from .avi to .mp4. Many years ago I used to solve that with ffmpeg on the terminal… but my recollection of the command line is too rusty. So I tried what I already knew but with a graphic interface… I should have thought out of the box and go directly for something new. Thanks again, handbrake worked wonderfully!
