sudo apt-get install libxxf86vm-dev fails on Ubuntu 16.04

How can I get this to install?

It says unable to locate package.

yes I did sudo apt-get update

What is the output of the command? Simply saying "it fails" doesn't tell us much at all.

In my post I included this:
"It says unable to locate package."

After I went to Software & Updates, and changed "download from: New Zealand Server" to "Main Server"
did apt-get update, I thought this would solve the problem, but it still says unable to locate package.

I have a fresh install of 16.04

I do not know why, but there seems to be some unprintable character in the package name given in your output above (between the 'm' and the dash character).

Try again by __typing__ the command

sudo apt-get install libxxf86vm-dev
