regarding loosing the data

Hello, At present I m using vista Now if I remove the vista os from c drive and install ubuntu in the c drive then the data other than c drive that is d e f g drive will also be lost or not? I have heard so from somewhere so please help me......

Nopes,

You could use a dual boot with a guided or free space partitioning so that data will not be lost on your computer

i just asked that if i install ubuntu in c drive will my data in other drives lost or i will loose data in only c drive

it will only formate c: and only data from that drive will be erased.
