Windows 10 Dual Boot

Asked by Dave

hello all,

i've burned ubuntu 16.04 on a usb, partitioned my hard drive, and am able to trial ubuntu. However, because I want to install Ubuntu in a dual-boot form with Windows, I am unfortunately not given that option in the install guide. Has anybody else ran into this issue?

Something else worth mentioning:
BIOS - Legacy
The burn was done using Win32 Disk Imager.

-Dave

Boot to Windows and run a full chkdsk on the partitions. Then shut down. Once the system is off, power up and boot to the USB stick

chkdsk didn't help - I am still not given an option to do dual install.

Did you try doing the disk resize in Windows?

Can you help with this problem?
