Xubuntu 16.04 32bit ISO how to install

Hi,

I have downloaded the 32bit ISO of Xubuntu 16.04 and I would like to install it on my old ACER Aspire 1350. I then used unetbootin to create a bootable USB drive and changed the boot sequence in my BIOS, however for some reason I don't seem to be able to start the installation. The screen stays black with a blinking prompt in the top left and then it gives me an error about something that has timed out... I am completely new to Xubuntu/Linux, any tips on how to successfully install?

I suggest changing the 'default boot options'.

Use the following kernel boot options:

noapic vga=771
