cannot install ipod/itunes

i have new laptop and a new ipod fromapple.i tried downloaded the itunes but it said that cannot display because the itunes /file is not install

Hello Sonia,
can you tell us which operating system you are using ? Ubuntu, windows or MacOS ?
if it's ubuntu there is (as i know) no itunes version for it. You have to use other linux software such us amarok who will detect and use you ipod.

Other media players such as Rhythmbox and Banshee also contain iPod support, but personally I think Amarok has the best one.
