Swap Space on Linux and Recovery Mode on Mac

Asked by Masayuki

Hi there,

I have installed Ubuntu on my macbook pro and after finished the install, now I want to change(or remove) the size of my swap space. How can I access to the section?

Also, when I boot my computer and try to do Recovery Mode (hold command+R keys), it won't let me go to the mac disk utility section anymore. It just straights into Linux OS.
The only option to change my OSs btw Mac and Linux is pressing Option key, and then I can choose Mac OS. Otherwise my computer starts Linux OS as default.
Is there a better way to chose two OSs when I boot?

Thanks for your help in advance!
Masayuki

If you boot to the Ubuntu Live CD / USB then you can use GParted to resize partitions. Be sure to back up any data you need in case of catastrophe

Yes, I could change the pertition!
And I missed the link from the Download instruction pages. There is the link for dual OS system.
The rEFlnd Boot Manager is the one I was looking for, and my Recovery Mode also started working now.

Thank you for your help
