I am not sure what is happening, but on the boot menu you can pick the first kernel you loaded by hitting a key and then selecting the third entry down.

This should enable you to boot.

I am sure others will be able to give you some advice on how to proceed further.

The problem is my graphics card. I disabled the card and know it boots without problems, I know there is a way to configure the card to enable the extra features in the OS (which I would like to do) but, I am a first timer and I really don`t know how to work the terminal stuff. I have an old laptop (Inspiron 8200) with a GeForce 440.
