World of warcraft display error

Hi i was wondering does any one here know what display drivers are .im asking in this forum because the world of warcraft forum is seriously lame i have friends who get the same problem as me and they never get replies so im asking u guys cause ur spot on:D.Yeah ive installed the game fine but i get a message come up when i try to play the game it says (Failed to find a suitable display device. exiting program ) so i need to know the problem to this message so i can sort it out and play the game .im using ubuntu hardy heron 8.04 linux i think ive said it right:)cheers guys help me if u can asap.i have a ge force 8800 gts .?

You should ask for help on the Wine AppDb:

I believe the problem is that you don't have the correct video graphics drivers installed and therefor can not get 3D acceleration to work.

This is actually a very simple fix if you have an ATI or NVIDIA graphics card!

That is EnvyNG... follow the instructions on how to get it installed on your Linux and run it. When it finishes and you reboot, you should have 3D acceleration and be able to run wow.
