No Internet Connection Ubuntu 16.04

Asked by Jonathan

So I am very new to Linux, and recently tried dual booting Ubuntu on my PC, which is a Lenovo Y-70. I selected the option to automatically download third party drivers, but unfortunately it seems that both drivers for my Ethernet and Wifi are either not present or not working. (There are no additional drivers listed in settings either, which seemed to be a common solution). the "sudo lshw -c network" command lists both, and they are:

Wifi-
BCM4352 802.11ac Wireless Network Adaptor
Broadcom Corporation

Ethernet-
RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller
Realtek Semiconductor Co.

but I cannot figure out where to find drivers without a working connection. The closest I have come so far was to download a BCM driver elsewhere then installing it locally, but when I tried installing it received an error having something to do with non-free components. As for the Ethernet driver, I have been unable to determine which (if any) drivers are even compatible. So any help figuring out how to connect using either method would be awesome!
Thanks in advance
