I think that is a bug in Opera 9.27, if you update to the recently released 9.5 it will work! At least it did ond Ubuntu 8.04 where I had the same problem!

You just need to download Opera 9.5 from www.opera.com.
The problem should then be solved. If you need more details on how to do this just ask!

i have installed 9.27 again.

and this textarea is again small!

how to make flash to work with this version or older?

If you install 9.27 it will never work! Opera or Flash have a problem with each other in that version. So if you would like to have working flash, you have to use opera 9.50.
