gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly can't find in ubuntu 16 (xenial)

in ubuntu 16.04 ,the gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly package doest exists,but in older ubuntu version the packages can find.why the new xenial version drop this pacakage?

If you install the ubuntu-restricted-extras package it should install the equivalent functionality. I'm not sure why it isn't present.

For which purpose do you need the gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly package?

There was a version upgrade, and Ubuntu 16.04 now contains gstreamer1.0-plugins-ugly

I have download some old packages depends on gstreamer0.10,not the gstreamer1.0.I have installed the unbuntu-restricted-extras package ,but the gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly also can't find.
I have known that gstreamer have two major serials the 0.10 and 1.0 which exists independently.In ubuntu's upstream debian 8,the gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly can be found.
I using google,find https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/xenial/+package/gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly.It confused me why this also exists in the ubuntu ppa,but you can't find that in normal way.
I using dpkg install that deb and it's dependencies manually.But it's not convenient.

Also Debian is going to remove gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly, see https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=814945

Well, that is a problem of these old packages, They should be updated to work with gstreamer1.0.
