computer will not power on

tried to install from iso. disk now my laptop will not power on and when i plug-in my ac power supply the power supply turns off. did ubuntu fry my computer?

It cannot do that. Unplug the power from the wall and remove the battery. Remove the small watch battery from the system as well and leave it overnight.

In the morning put it all together and retry. Otherwise you may have a fault with the system. Seems like a coincidence to me.
