Hello !

Could you please describe the problem a bit more precisely ?

Where does it fail ?
What are you trying to do ?
Did you forget your password ?
Did you have to set up a password or it fails before ?

Thanks and regards,
Benoît

Benoît,

While installing wubi-7.04- it asked me for username and password. I entered this information, I also noticed a box underneath this that said something about this area is for time zone data or something of the sort. The program installed, and the system rebooted to the screen asking me if I wanted to boot ubuntu or xp. I selected ubuntu. I then got the screen where you enter username, I entered my username that I created during the install and the password field came up and I then entered it. It tells me that I am entering the wrong information, but I know that I am entering the correct username and password. I have uninstalled and installed 3 times now with the same results, what am I doing wrong?

Hello !

Are you sure your password doesn't contain some funky digits like "|, ~, `, ..." ?

Did you try to enter a password which doesn't depend on the keymap used ?

For example, if your password is "qwerty" and system thinks your keyboard is a french one, you'll end up writing "azerty" without noticing ...
You can check by typing your password in the username field (because it is not masked) while no one is around ...

Regards,
Benoît
