How to retrieve n install scan driver for Epson Stylus sx420w on 14.04

"My" Epson Stylus SX420W printer has scanning capabilities but doesn't scan (windows 7 problem solving says it doesn't have the scan driver).
Is it possible to retrieve and install said driver, best if under ubuntu 14.04?

You should be able to download the driver from http://support.epson.net/linux/en/iscan_c.php?version=1.0.2
