Stampante HP psc 1215 all-in-one non funziona più.

Potrebbe derivare da un problema hardware: ha provato a stampare con un altro sistema operativo?

ho provato a stampare con W. e va bene.

Il problema è uscito quando ho installato hplip, prima stampa al rallentatore poi fermata.

Ho rimosso il tool di Hplip ed ho configurato la stampante con Cups, prima eliminandola poi aggiungendola. Niente ferma. Ho scaricato i driver Hp psc 1200 hpijs.ppd e li ho installati con Cups, niente ferma. Ho provato driver 1210, niente.

Non so che altro fare, mi domando se prima era ok, ora cosa è che non va?? forse i driver? forse altro?

Non vorrei re-installare nuovamente Ubuntu.... sarebbe la quarta volta....

Potrebbe servire il disco di installazione di Hp? credo di no.

Per favore vedi di darmi una mano a capire dove sta il problema.

Forse è da configurare bene Cups??? scegliere la stampante giusta?? ma quando ho installato Ubuntu mica mi ha fatto tutte queste storie... ha riconosciuto subito la stampante e tutto è filato liscio.

grazie molte per la risposta che è stata molto utile. ha risolto in gran parte il problema. Ho seguito la guida, ho visto che mancavano delle librerie, ho installato Hplit. Probabilmente quando ho rimosso Hplip, alcune librerie sono andate perdute e la stampante non funzionava più.

Nella guida dice di decommentare la riga:

#hpoj

nel file /etc/sane.d/dll.conf

ma leggendo il predetto file non esiste questa riga. La devo aggiungere io??

Da Hplip ho fatto stampare la pagina di prova che è uscita regolarmente:
Hp Printer Test Page.

Sono andato in Preferenze--> Stampa, in elenco ci sono due:

psc 1200 (e con questa ho provato a stampare un documento e funziona)

psc 1200 series ---> (nota in alto a destra dice che: è possibile che la stampante non sia connessa)

In effetti ora stampo selezionando psc 1200

Invece se seleziono psc 1200 series non si stampa.

La settimana scorsa, prima di incasinare tutto, in Stampa c'era solo questa psc 1200 e si stampava correttamente. Dopo l'installazione di Hplit toolbox in Stampa ne risultano due e la psc 1200 series NON stampa. Ecco la confusione, qualcosa non va tra Cups e Hplip!!!

Tuttavia al momento la stampante funziona e mi farebbe piacere avere un tuo commento riguardo alla riga.
