ctrl alt f7 leaves blank screen with blinking cursor

when i hit ctrl alt f7 i get a black screen with a blinking cursor like a prompt i can type but nothing elese happens. when i hit ctrl alt f9 the os runs with the desktop but it dosent work rite.

As far as I know a new instance of tty can be used for whatever purpose you want. Enter "sudo su" and your user accounts password. This should provide you with a shell (non login shell).

When returining to your desktop everything should work fine again. Please specify your problems.

This problem is about the video, could you send the result of the command:

     lshw

and

    lspci

and paste here please,

Unfortunately I do not have the powers to change the state of this question to SOLVED, EXPIRED or INVALID. Someone here at Launchpad either grant me that permission or simply apply the change in state to this question, please.
