I have adobe flash installed but i dont seem to be getting anywhere with it

Asked by Sean

I have followed helpful instructions and I have installed adobe flash but how to use it is a problem for me. I did the online test but didnt find what version I have etc and where there was supposed to be a movie window to test Java was a blank space. I tried to access Enclopaedia Britannica online but it says that I have to download Java script and adobeflash to see it.

do you have any noscript extension enabled, or perhaps some script blocking on a router level? and how about your firefox preferences, do you have javascript and java enabled there? and can you see your flash/java plugin in preferences->addons?

you can go to tools->addons->plugins in assuming you have firefox 3 to check if your flash and java are visible for firefox.
