How can I adjust the low-battery warning in Ubuntu ?

I often end up losing power to my laptop as I moved around and get a "5 minutes of power remaining" message but don't notice it.

I'd like to get more warnings, earlier. Where can I set that up ?

Add the "Battery Charge Monitor" to the gnome panel - you can set the display to show the amount of charge in the battery, time/percentage remaining and warning percentage when you get a warning.

Excellent, weird that prefrences exposed by that applet can't be found elsewhere (that I know of).
