Setting UTC timezone to gnome-clock

Asked by Marco da Silva on 2008-07-16

How do I set the Clock to show UTC timezone?

I'm only able to set the time based on a location, like Europe/Lisbon, but not on TimeZone Like UTC.

Using 8.04.1

Any tips?

Hello

Using the command line, you can use dpkg-reconfigure tzdata.

1.Open a terminal window by going to Applications>Accessories>Terminal
   2.dpkg-reconfigure tzdata
   3. Follow the directions in the terminal.
