i need the drivers for the gforce mx 400 agp 8x

Why do you need a driver for that card? The nv driver should be installed automatically and works out the box.

For 3D aceleration, I think.

You can get the drivers in NVIDIA's website.

You need the nvidia legacy drivers for your card.
