PKI signing/encryption in Bacula

Asked by Darren Faulke

I have a new 8.04 server that I want to use to backup to a removable hard disk and I would like the data to be encrypted. Bacula has encryption support via the storage daemon bacula-sd, however this has not been compiled into the sqlite3 version. I can't use mysql as I host a zimbra installation on this server and I couldn't get postgresql to work so I'm stuck with sqlite3 for now. It could be that it is not compiled into the mysql and postgresql versions anyway. Is there any particular reason it is not compiled in?
