Booting problem

hi i am new to Ubuntu plz. help. here is my problem....

I am using windows XP ("C:/" drive) & Ubuntu 8.04 H ("d:/" drive) dual booting. In windows I get virus problem so i format the XP and reinstalled in c:/ drive. After installing i shoked, the booting option is disappeared and it directly booting XP.

Plz. help how i can i resolve this problem.

Windows doesn't share boot options it haas rewritten it's boot record.

You can use your livecd to reinstall grub which will allow you to use ubuntu again.

well not mine, i cant even find where ubuntu is anywhere on my system...all this grub stuff is jibberish to me HELP PLZ
