Install Lilo from LiveCD?

I installed ubuntu on XFS filesystems as I found them to be the most suitable; but GRUB has an issue with XFS and I must install Lilo. How do I install Lilo so that it goes to the disk's MBR and not the virtual one on the livecd?

The link are dead, for sure. Another link would be very nice. I can't boot into ubuntu because the bootloader of win7 is not taking me there and i don't understand how to put lilo in the place of GRUB (someone told me that if i do that i would manage to enter all my O.S.'s...i have win7 and winxp installed in the same disk but in different partitions. I'd like to leave the windows platform. It's giving me headaches. I'd like to use ubuntu but i can't leave windows completely because of some softwares that just works on the windows. Thanks anyway...
