How do we open a .pmd extension files in Ubuntu 8.04.?

Hello Friends,

Hope fine. Want to open a file with extension .pmd . With which application will be able to open this.
Suggest some.

According to http://filext.com/file-extension/PMD there are multiple possibilities for a PMD file. I doubt however, since they all are proprietary file formats, you will be able to open and edit them. Most of them can be converted to something else which is supported.

You may have to export the files from Pagemaker and Corel as .svg or another file type that inkscape is able to import.

Unfortunately that's not as easy as it sounds, as I have had lots of fun tweaking it... :)

Hello,
I tried out something and it worked.
NO ADDITIONAL DOWNLOADS OR NET CONNECTION REQUIRED!!!!
Just open LibreOffice Writer and open the desired .pmd file . It will open in LibreOffice Draw.
IF YOU WISH TO EXPORT IT AS PDF, YOU CAN DO THAT TOO!!!!
