ubuntu 1.4 ulitmate default username and password

Hi,

       i am using ubuntu 1.4 ultimate on VMware player. can any body tell me the default user name and password for it. i dowloaded it from torrentreactor.net.

To see the username open a terminal (your user name is on the prompt).

Or you can :

ls /home

I am not sure about Ultimate , but typically the default user is "ubuntu" (without quotes) with no password (empty password). Just leave the password blank and procees (hit enter).

Ubuntu ultimate is not an official Ubuntu release is a VMplayer image so please read:
