I found a Tutorial to establish Wireless Connection, its for Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon), you can try if it works under Hardy Heron too:

http://hardwaremeter.com/2007/10/23/ubuntu-710-on-acer-travelmate-2490/

Hope that helps you

Raul the tutorial i think is this howto http://hardwaremeter.com/2007/10/23/ubuntu-710-on-acer-travelmate-2490/

To run Windows application you can install and use Wine, not all windows applications will run here the tested app: http://appdb.winehq.org/

I strongly suggest you to NOT USE closed source applications on a open source system like this.

With opensource applications you never get spyware on your pc.

Please try to find Ubuntu alternative to Windows software we can help you to find it.

Hope this helps

Ok!
By the way, I think I found wich programme I need, it's WiFi radar. But ther is one problem!
I need internet connection to download this program but I haven't. Becouse I have ADSL modem and it needs drivers for Ubuntu OS that I don't have!
So, is there any links that I can download it to Windows and then tu Ubuntu?
