How to install windows live messenger

how can i install windows live messenger, i got wine installed on my ubuntu 7.10 .

Can any body help my?

   1.

      Download the Windows application from any source (e.g. download.com). Download the .EXE (executable).
   2.

      Place it in a convenient directory (e.g. the desktop, or home folder).
   3.

      Open the terminal, and cd into the directory where the .EXE is located.
   4.

      Type wine the-name-of-the-application.extension (e.g. wine realplayer.exe).

I found this steps on the link that you had gigen me but i don't understand the third & fourth steps .

Cloud you make them sample for me ?

Pidgin also supports MSN accounts, along with other chat networks simultaneously, for Messenger-type functionality.
(added for information only, you may know this allready)

In a terminal window :)

sudo apt-get install pidgin
