Hibernate fixed usb gone

Asked by michael on 2008-06-23

Issue:

I tried the hibernate option, but on resume i received the notification "your computer failed to hibernate properly" so i followed a chain of links until i ended up in this thread http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=417964&page=2 and followed post #13.

All seemed well as i hibernated and resumed, until i tried to use my usb after resume. It failed to work at all, so i checked my Dmesg and saw this...
[ 40.837550] usb usb2: root hub lost power or was reset
