using 16.04 - need to run 32 bit software

I am converting to 16.04 - a 64 bit architecture - I have 32 bit programs which will not run. How do I fix this? Thank you.

The multiarch functionality of Ubuntu will enable you to run also 32bit programs on a 64 bit installation. (There are only very few exceptions where this does not work due to problems with the required libraries).
