internet indicates connected, not working

Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
HP Pavillion

Been using 16.04 since release, had connection issues that disconnect/reconnect would fix.
Now both wired and wireless indicate connection, but no internet.
Other devices on the same connection no issues.
Writing from a mac on the same router. Will post requested results via thumb drive.
