Battery Icon not updating LTS 16.04

Asked by Sven

Hello,

I was looking around on the interwebs and haven't really found an answer or fix to my problem.

So I installed Ubuntu 16.04 on a MacBook Air, and I have no problems except that when I plug in my charger, the Battery Icon in the top right is not updated correctly (showing "discharging"), upower thinks it's discharging, but the battery however IS really charging. When I remove the plug after a minute or two, it updates the icon to charging for a few seconds, then shows a few % more battery life.

I know it's nothing serious, as the battery is indeed charging, but I was wondering if there was someone that knows how to fix it.
