Unity is adamant on staying faulty

When my Ubuntu 16.04 is booted up and logged into my user account only wallpaper and desktop files are visible, on the contrary the unity launcher works fine in Guest Log In mode. I've tried enabling "Unity Plugin" using "compizconfig" setting manager but there was no change. I even tried Unity tweak tool by searching it online, yet nothing happening. I'm just a novice Ubuntu fan and there's no other OS installed on my laptop computer, so please help me find a solution.

It's a laptop PC from DELL (Vostro 3550) with integrated Intel graphics.........
