Hi,

The standard installation does not work?

«««
To install the drivers you need to go in

System / Administration / Hardware Drivers

In the window that opens, you must activate your wireless card (check box).

Best regards.

I found at the Dell site that there are many different models of wifi card for your computer. Maybe with the service tag is possible to narrow down the specific model of your card. Could you please provide it?

ok, download the drivers from http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&releaseid=R151519&SystemID=INSPIRON%202200&servicetag=&os=WW1&osl=en&deviceid=9110&devlib=0&typecnt=0&vercnt=10&catid=5&impid=-1&formatcnt=1&libid=5&fileid=202138

After that install wine (windows emulator) and then open a terminal, go to the directory where you downloaded the file and type wine R151519.EXE

Follow the instructions and the program will extract its contents on /home/(your account)/.wine/drive_c/drivers
and hopefully you'll find the inf file there.

How do I install WINE?

Ok, I installed wine, still confused as an install shield like in windows activated but would not complete the installation.

That's ok, wine allowed you to run the installshield, and then installshield extracted the needed files on /home/(your account)/.wine/drive_c/drivers. You'll very likely find the inf file at that location.

Good luck.
