How to create a multisession data cd with Gnomebaker?

Asked by Michele

Hello!

I have just downloaded Gnomebaker. I know that it can create a multisession cd, but i don't know how to do. The help page is very old and unuseful. I tried on the official site, in the ubuntu wiki and in the www for a manual or something else without results.

Can someone help me?

I think you need to try k3b instead.

Or it seems to be default without an option to switch multisession off

Hello txwikinger!
I prefer not to use K3b, because i have gnome desktop and a slow 56k
connection.
Then i can't understand your second post. I'm italian, can you be more
clear, please?

Today i try use gnomebaker with CD-RW. I can write ONE time and ERASE
the entire cd, but one more time i can't create more sessions.

Maybe i'll try k3b or just another one software, like gravemen or
another else.

Everything I understand by reading the messageboards is that Gnomebaker automatically uses multi-session. There is nothing you can change. You might need to make sure you use a format that can do it (joliet?).

I use kubuntu and k3b and had never problems with it

Gnomebaker uses by default joliet and Rock Ridge.

Hmm.. that should be fine then... maybe you want to file a bug against the package then.

I give up. I'll download 28 MB of K3b, hoping it works!
