Hola cuando trato de descargar las actualizaciones que me aparecen en el gestor de Actualizaciones me aparece el siguiente error:

E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

No se que es lo que debo hacer y ME URGEN UNAS ACTUALIZACIONES DEL OPENOFFICE

has lo que te pide:
abre la terminal y ejecuta sudo dpkg --configure -a

Ejecute esto en una terminal

sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
