i dont see intrepid listed yet on http://torrent.ubuntu.com:6969/ or at http://releases.ubuntu.com/

you can either wait for a little while and watch the Ubuntu forums development section for intrepid :
http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=346 for more news or you might just jump in and download the hardy mini iso http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/hardy/main/installer-i386/current/images/netboot/mini.iso and install the cli version of hardy and change all instances of "hardy" in /etc/apt/sources.list to "intrepid". the command to do that would be sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

once you have done this you can issue sudo apt-get update then sudo apt-get ubuntu-desktop. this will install Intrepid.

Hello

the packages are still in experimental stage and if you are a developer then upgrade to intrepid

Here is the standard way of updating

The Intrepid alpha 1 has been delayed for a few days. See https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-devel-announce/2008-June/000431.html

I finally found an official answer from the Intrepid Ibex development team. Here is the URL:

(Note: You may have to copy and paste the URL in your browser. I don't think they are active URL links.)

       https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-devel-announce/2008-June/000431.html

The bottom line is that is being worked on and is coming. We just have to be a little more patient.

The other website you can also check the Ibex Launchpad.net website, which is:

        https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/intrepid

You can see from the LaunchPad.net website the actual nitty-gritty pieces of Intrepid Ibex being working on by the various developers.

Can you help with this problem?
