Ubuntu Software won't load in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Asked by Not Telling

I am trying to install a video player into this leading OS for the PC because the two piece of shit video players that came with it don't have a playlist feature, but I can't install additional software as it is too much of a challenge for Ubuntu.

Ubuntu Software won't open. I click it, it glows a few times and then nothing happens. How can I fix this apart from booting into a superior OS such as Windows 95?

Leave the "comedy" at the door please. Just stick to the details and things get resolved quicker.

If you run:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo reboot

Does it help

It might not be comedy to you because you live in a delusional realm and actually swallow Ubuntu's slogan that its the leading OS for the PC, but in your actual reality Ubuntu such a piece of shit its hilarious considering how much effort has gone into yet, yet it can't do everyday tasks - something which operating systems that are 'inferior' could do in the 1980's.

Your shitty idea to fix it didn't work and thanks for warning me it was going to restart my computer half way through attaching a file to an e-mail clown.

Still this problem exists in this self-breaking 'operating system'.

I'm not helping here anymore. Your attitude is pathetic

No your attitude is pathetic. Your too weak to own your own stupidity. Don't go around telling people to do things to their computers like it restarting without warning, without notifying of them that it will happen. How dumb can you get?!

I don't want your help. Your 'help' did nothing other than me having to re-write an e-mail to someone.

If worst comes to worst I will keep doing what I do to get around this problem and just use Windows 10, an operating system that has achieved more than Ubuntu ever could in 100 years.
