Online videos such as YouTube suddenly do not play

Asked by Jeremy Collins

Hey guys,

I logged onto my Ubuntu Studio 16.04 LTS laptop today and all of a sudden YouTube videos aren't working. I've never had a problem with it before. The video loads, but it won't play. YouTube give me a message saying "if playback doesn't start soon, try restarting your device."

I restarted my laptop, cleared my cookies and cache in Chrome, disabled my extensions, and tried in FireFox with the same result.

Any ideas? Thanks!

I posted the output below. I noticed that it only happens when I have my bluetooth headphones connected. If I disconnect them, the videos work.
