Shuts down after trying to resume from suspend

I have MSI PR200. While I was using windows, it was suspending and resuming properly. In ubuntu it suspends, but when I try to resume by pressing the power button - because it is the only way for my laptop- it seems to resume but then, it shuts down.

I have read all the questions and answers about similar problem but could find nothing.

I will be waiting for any advice,

As described in the linked bug, it seems to be a regression from Gutsy. Hibernation apparently works fine.

Sorry, but for the time being probably not. The best thing you can do
now is to subscribe to that bug which is the first place where they'll
come up with some workaround or a patch. Maybe you would like confirm
