Upgrade to Ubuntu 7

Will it be possible to upgrade ubuntu 6.10 to 7.04 ? Or do I need to uninstall 6.10 before installing 7.04?

The update-manager allows you to upgrade from release to the next.

i have tried to a upgrade via the update manager, but it does not solve the problem for me. I made sure iwas connected to the internet too. I am not able toswitch from 6.04 version to 7.10. Is there any other way that i can try.
