Intallation of Picassa changes behavior of Konqueror

After installing Picassa, clicking on the Home Folder link on the home page of Konqueror opens Picassa. Clicking on the other links on the home page produces a malformed url error. Any help appreciated.

Picasa does not seem to be a package within the ubuntu repositories. Therefore, it obviously has not been tested for compliance or problems when installed on ubuntu.

If I have understood it right, Picasa is not OpenSource, but has a propietary licence. Therefore, we cannot look at its source and try to see what it's problems are.

Therefore, I believe, you might have ore luck if you will ask those questions to the provider of picasa (I believe it is google) or whereever you got the package from.
