kernel 2.6.24.19

Asked by giovanni

I upgraded the system but the new kernel 2.6.24.19 does not work.
I must reboot and manually choose the older one (2.6.24.18)
I think there is a conflict.
What do you suggest? shall I remove the new kernel? In the affirmative, how can I remove it?

If you are unsure to do perhaps you shopuldn't be using the proposed repos - it is there so that chnages can be tested. You could wait for it to be updated, for the time being you could change your menu.lst to boot the -18 kernel as default.

Can you help with this problem?
