Okay how to use Groub Recovery ?

Person dropped the Net Book and now gets "Grub Recovery" coming up on the screen . . How to get it back together Have NO Ideal as to next thing to do . . I got this once when battery failed on 16.04 also and am back to 1510 . . Lost tons of things . . Will be pulling the HD to access it via USB and save what I can . . Until answer back from you people as to how to get things working maybe

Why do you not have backups? Especially after the first time.....

NOT my Net Book and I do make Back UPS now mandatory EVERY WEEK of files on MY Laptop ! . . My back up was haha like 4 months old so lost bunches of things . . This person who the net book belongs to also did not back up things and wishes he had now LOL . . So how to get the Grub Recovery mode to work ? I typed the help and got tons of things to do but did not know what or which to use . . Fun getting tiny NET Books apart and getting to the hard drive GEEZ !

People love learning the hard way about backups.

You can boot to live CD / USB desktop and access the drive if it's healthy.
