Broad band problem

Asked by Milan Singha

I have a BSNL Broadband connection on my pc. It uses Ethernet port. When I connect the internet it works fine but when I disconnect it and try to connect again no connection is established. Although if I immediately switch to WinXP then the connection works. This didnot happen before. What's the problem?

So do you mean that you are pulling the cable out and plugging it back in?

Hello milan

Plug the cable in and make sure the configuration is alright and re enable networking layer:

sudo /etc/init.d/networking start

Bhavani Shankar.

Can you help with this problem?
